Hoppily Ever After Wedding at Willow-Witt Ranch

My inspiration for this styled shoot is everything I love about Oregon. Beer, the mountains, and Oregon weather in the spring! This shoot takes place at a Farm/Ranch in the mountains about 20 minutes outside of Ashland, called Willow-Witt Ranch. The venue is very unique because it can be for the most rustic of couples(it has its own campground, which is where this shoot takes place), or be less rustic by staying in the beautiful cabin home on the property.

Each of the wedding vendors involved is local to the Rogue Valley. The week leading up to the shoot in late May was warm and sunny. The day of, the clouds and rain decided to move in- ah Oregon. So we started at 6 am. Because of this, we were in the clouds all morning(the venue is at about 5-6,000 feet elevation. I think it made for even more of an "Oregony" wedding day.

It was truly a very special shoot, and amazing to finally see my vision come together. Thank you to all of the vendors who participated. A special thank you to Stacey of Plentiful Events who was amazing at making everything come together in the end!

My initial vision for this venue started with this tent cabin. Willow-Witt has a full campground that you can tent camp in or rent a tent cabin. The surrounding forest and mountains are beautiful. The brides dress is from a local store in Central Point called Volamos Boutique.

Instead of having a traditional wedding cake, I thought that these incredible sugar cookies made by Sugar By Shelly would fit the shoot perfectly. Shelly is a home baker who turned her passion for sugar cookies, cupcakes, and treats from a hobby/dream to her business. She might have a slight obsession with sprinkles, cookie cutters, and frosting. :)

She has been in Ashland, Oregon now for 6+ years with her husband of 35+ years and together they have raised 4 young adult children.

Decorations such as the lanterns and small table along with all of the table place settings were furnished by Motif Event Rentals. They carry a modern and beautiful assortment of everything you need to decorate for your big day!

Out drink of the day was of course- BEER!!!!!. Caldera Brewery in Ashland was gracious enough to participate in the shoot and gave us some beer to celebrate with! If you haven't been to the brewery, be sure to visit. They have a ton of beers on tap and they are all wonderful. My favorites are their Dry Hop IPA, Grapefruit IPA and their Porter Mogli.
