Engagement Session in N California Mountains

My job is so awesome! Today, I got to join Kimberly and John on their 22 acre mountain property to do their engagement session. As I am winding up this dirt forest service road into the mountains, about an hour south of Ashland and am wondering to myself- where in the world am I going? All of a sudden a few miles up this road, I see a slow down sign, and I enter a mountain neighborhood. This particular neighborhood of about 15 houses was saved from the Delta Fire about 2 years ago. Evidence, is all around, as you can see burn scars. But, there was a lot of vegetation and trees that were saved, and the view on the top, from my couples house is incredible.

Kimberly and John met the good old fashioned way- online. The first time they met in person, was at Shari's for breakfast, where they talked for hours. Now they plan on getting married on their property in a grove of beautiful cedar trees later this summer.
