These are some of my most favorite images, because of these two sweet, adorable little boys. Ok, so they are my nephews, but even then, they are so stinkin cute! My oldest nephew is 4 and at that age where he really doesn't like to do professional "posed" photos. My younger nephew is 2 and will sit all day long and "cheese" for you. I had to think of some way for the oldest to put up with me and take at least a few photos- his mom said they didn't have any of them as a family yet, and I really wanted to give them this moment in time to remember forever. So,how did I get the older one to be as cute as this? Well, he is a nature lover, so we promised him an amazing outdoor park with animals, a barn with hay, a tepee and a huge sandbox to play in after the session. And, bingo- it worked! I would let the kids explore for a few minutes and then ask them to sit on a hay bale and give each other a hug- then they would run off and explore something else. It's just that split second in time you have to be prepared to capture. Mom and dad couldn't believe I got these moments and I was so happy to be able to give them these images to cherish forever.
